Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or Playwright).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, and QA engineers) to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Execute automated regression, performance, and integration tests in CI/CD pipelines to validate software releases.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps, ensuring timely resolution.
- Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to improve product quality and team efficiency.
- Optimize test automation frameworks for scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Mentor junior QA team members and contribute to best practices in test automation and quality assurance.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in automation testing, tools, and methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in automation testing, with a strong portfolio of automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and version control systems (Git).
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
