Responsibility
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JMeter, or Cypress).
- Design comprehensive test plans, cases, and scenarios aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Translate user stories and acceptance criteria into testable, actionable QA requirements.
- Execute functional, regression, and performance tests to validate software quality and reliability.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla, ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to refine test strategies and improve product quality.
- Generate detailed test reports and metrics to communicate results and recommendations to leadership.
- Continuously optimize test automation frameworks to reduce manual effort and increase coverage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in automation testing and QA engineering.
- Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Cucumber, or Postman).
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) and version control systems (Git).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and test-driven development (TDD).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a global team.
