Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive testing and evaluation of building and mechanical products to ensure compliance with international standards (e.g., ISO, EN, ASTM).
- Develop and implement test protocols, procedures, and documentation in alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for product failures or non-conformities, providing actionable recommendations.
- Oversee laboratory operations, including equipment calibration, maintenance, and safety compliance.
- Collaborate with clients, manufacturers, and certification bodies to clarify technical specifications and resolve compliance issues.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and certification documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and emerging technologies in mechanical and building product engineering.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product testing, compliance, or quality assurance, preferably in a certification or laboratory setting.
- Strong knowledge of international standards (e.g., ISO 9001, EN 1090, ASTM) and regulatory frameworks for building and mechanical products.
- Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and test data with high accuracy.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CAD software, and lab management systems.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with global teams and clients.
