Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive clinical event reviews to identify root causes and systemic gaps in patient safety.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans based on findings from clinical reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance patient safety protocols and reduce medical errors.
- Analyze trends in clinical incidents and propose data-driven recommendations for process improvements.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders and leadership on patient safety metrics.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops to educate staff on best practices in clinical risk management.
- Monitor compliance with regulatory standards and internal patient safety policies.
- Support the development of patient safety initiatives aligned with global healthcare benchmarks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related fields; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in clinical reviews, patient safety, or healthcare quality management.
- Strong knowledge of clinical risk assessment methodologies and incident reporting systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with healthcare data analysis tools and electronic health records (EHR).
- Familiarity with international patient safety standards (e.g., WHO, JCI).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Certification in Patient Safety or Quality Management (e.g., CPPS) is a plus.
