Responsibility
- Oversee daily laboratory operations, ensuring adherence to ISO, CAP, and local regulatory standards for quality and safety.
- Develop, validate, and implement new diagnostic methodologies and technologies to enhance patient care.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of medical technologists and lab staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare administrators to interpret lab results and provide clinical insights.
- Manage laboratory budgets, procurement, and inventory to optimize resource allocation.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of critical lab findings while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Spearhead quality control programs and participate in accreditation audits.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in medical technology and integrate best practices into laboratory workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in clinical laboratory settings, with 3+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Valid professional license as a Medical Technologist (or equivalent international certification).
- Proven expertise in hematology, microbiology, chemistry, and immunology testing.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory information systems (LIS) and data management tools.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with international healthcare standards (e.g., JCI, ISO 15189).
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
