Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive security assessments and penetration testing on applications to identify vulnerabilities.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and prevention of future occurrences.
- Stay abreast of the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to proactively enhance security posture.
- Provide security training and awareness programs for employees to foster a security-conscious culture.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and others.
- Lead and mentor junior security analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in application security, with a focus on vulnerability assessment and penetration testing.
- Proficiency in security tools and technologies, such as Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, and Metasploit.
- Strong understanding of secure coding practices and common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10).
- Experience with security frameworks and standards, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CEH, or OSCP, are highly desirable.
