Responsibility
- Lead the electrical design and engineering of UPS and DRUPS systems, ensuring alignment with project specifications, client requirements, and industry best practices.
- Develop and review technical drawings, schematics, and system layouts using AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar tools to optimize performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with project managers, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of critical power solutions, adhering to budget and quality standards.
- Conduct site assessments, risk analyses, and feasibility studies to identify potential challenges and propose innovative solutions.
- Ensure compliance with local and international standards (e.g., IEC, NFPA, IEEE) and regulatory requirements for electrical systems and safety protocols.
- Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning phases, troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime and ensure system integrity.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation, including technical reports, user manuals, and maintenance guidelines, for clients and internal teams.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in critical power solutions, recommending upgrades or optimizations to enhance system efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PE, CEng, or PMP) are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on UPS, DRUPS, or critical power systems for data centers, healthcare, or industrial applications.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, Revit, or similar design and simulation tools for electrical system modeling and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., IEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE) and their application in critical power environments.
- Hands-on experience with system integration, testing, and commissioning of UPS/DRUPS systems, including load calculations and fault analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues in high-pressure environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are advantageous.
