Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain secure Android applications for EMV-based payment systems.
- Implement and optimize EMV transaction flows, ensuring compliance with scheme certification processes (Visa, Mastercard, etc.).
- Collaborate with backend teams to integrate payment APIs and ensure seamless data exchange.
- Conduct code reviews, performance optimizations, and security audits to maintain high-quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to payment processing and mobile security.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices in Android development.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in fintech, mobile payments, and Android development.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the evolution of our payment platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of professional Android development experience, with a strong focus on payment systems or fintech.
- Proven expertise in EMV transaction flows, scheme certifications (Visa, Mastercard, etc.), and PCI-DSS compliance.
- Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, and Android SDK, with experience in secure coding practices.
- Hands-on experience with payment gateways, tokenization, and encryption technologies.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and backend integration.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
