Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin/Java and modern architectures (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture).
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces that enhance user engagement.
- Integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party SDKs to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.
- Optimize app performance for speed, scalability, and battery efficiency, conducting thorough profiling and debugging.
- Write unit and UI tests (JUnit, Espresso, Mockito) to ensure code reliability and maintainability.
- Stay ahead of industry trends by evaluating and adopting new Android libraries, tools, and best practices.
- Mentor junior developers through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Work closely with product managers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in Android development with a strong portfolio of published apps.
- Proficiency in Kotlin (primary) and Java, with expertise in Jetpack Compose or XML-based UI development.
- Experience with Android Studio, Gradle, and dependency management tools (e.g., Dagger/Hilt).
- Solid understanding of Android architecture components (LiveData, ViewModel, Room, WorkManager).
- Familiarity with Firebase, Retrofit, and other backend-as-a-service platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues across the Android ecosystem.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Bitrise, or Jenkins) and version control (Git).
- Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work in a collaborative, remote-friendly environment.
