Responsibility
- Coordinate and manage airfreight export operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Liaise with clients, carriers, and customs authorities to facilitate smooth export processes.
- Prepare and review shipping documentation, including air waybills, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and customer expectations.
- Negotiate rates and contracts with airlines and freight forwarders to optimize cost and service levels.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during the export process.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of airfreight activities.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to clients throughout the export process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in airfreight operations, with a focus on exports.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in using logistics software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
