Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered internal systems for e-commerce operations using Python, ML frameworks (TensorFlow/PyTorch), and AWS services (Lambda, SageMaker, RDS).
- Build and deploy autonomous AI agents to automate workflows, such as inventory management, fraud detection, and personalized recommendations.
- Optimize system performance through data pipeline engineering, ensuring low-latency processing and high availability.
- Collaborate with data scientists to train, fine-tune, and deploy ML models for predictive analytics and business intelligence.
- Implement scalable cloud architectures on AWS, including serverless functions, containerized applications (Docker/EKS), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor system health, debug issues, and proactively improve reliability, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Document technical designs, APIs, and workflows to ensure knowledge sharing across engineering teams.
- Stay ahead of AI/ML and e-commerce trends, evaluating new tools and technologies to drive innovation.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on Python, AI/ML, and cloud computing (AWS preferred).
- Proven track record of building production-grade AI systems or data-driven applications in e-commerce, fintech, or related industries.
- Expertise in machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and libraries (Pandas, NumPy).
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, SageMaker, DynamoDB) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems for high-performance applications.
- Experience with API development (REST/GraphQL), microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Familiarity with MLOps practices, including model versioning, A/B testing, and monitoring (e.g., MLflow, Prometheus).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile, cross-functional teams in a remote or hybrid setting.
