Note: This role is open to candidates with a strong AI/ML background, regardless of location, but preference will be given to those based in Bali or willing to relocate.
Responsibility
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI/ML models and generative AI solutions for enterprise clients across industries.
- Lead end-to-end AI project lifecycles, from problem definition to model training, evaluation, and production deployment.
- Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into technical AI solutions.
- Optimize AI models for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
- Mentor junior AI engineers and conduct code reviews to uphold best practices in AI development.
- Stay abreast of emerging AI trends (e.g., LLMs, computer vision, NLP) and evaluate their applicability to client projects.
- Present technical concepts and AI solutions to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, client-friendly manner.
- Contribute to the company’s AI strategy, including tooling, frameworks, and innovation initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or a related field (PhD preferred but not required).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML engineering, with a portfolio of deployed models or AI-driven applications.
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Experience with generative AI, NLP, computer vision, or reinforcement learning (demonstrated through projects or publications).
- Strong software engineering skills, including API development, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate complex AI concepts to clients and internal teams.
- Client-facing experience, with the ability to build trust and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Familiarity with MLOps tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow) and model monitoring in production.
