Responsibility
- Design and implement advanced biosystems for tropical crop optimization, including hydroponics and aquaponics solutions
- Develop and test precision agriculture technologies tailored to Southeast Asian climate conditions
- Lead cross-functional teams in the deployment of IoT-enabled farming monitoring systems
- Conduct feasibility studies for renewable energy integration in agricultural operations
- Collaborate with local farmers to adapt engineering solutions to traditional farming practices
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders and government agencies
- Oversee the maintenance and upgrading of existing agricultural infrastructure
- Stay abreast of global trends in agricultural engineering and propose innovative applications for the Indonesian market
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering, Biosystems Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in agricultural systems design and implementation
- Proven track record with CAD software and agricultural modeling tools
- Strong knowledge of tropical crop requirements and local farming practices
- Experience with project management in agricultural or environmental sectors
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for complex biosystems
- Fluency in English; Indonesian language skills are a significant advantage
- Willingness to conduct periodic field visits to rural locations in Bali
