Responsibility
- Oversee and manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Review and reconcile branch accounts to ensure accuracy and consistency across all financial records.
- Strengthen internal controls by identifying gaps, implementing best practices, and ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with auditors (internal and external) to facilitate smooth audits and address findings promptly.
- Develop and maintain financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance metrics, providing actionable insights to senior management.
- Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, general ledger management, and internal controls.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and local tax regulations (Indonesian tax compliance is advantageous).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
