Responsibility
- Assist the CFO in overseeing all accounting and tax-related functions, ensuring compliance with Indonesian financial regulations.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and local standards.
- Manage tax filings, including VAT, corporate income tax, and withholding taxes, while identifying opportunities for tax optimization.
- Conduct financial audits and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants to address inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
- Provide financial analysis and reports to support strategic business decisions.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and accounting standards, and advise management on their implications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or similar certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting and taxation, preferably in a corporate or multinational environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a leadership or supervisory role is advantageous.
