Responsibility
- Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and international financial regulations.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
- Manage the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts that align with business objectives.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable insights to support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including the preparation and filing of tax returns and other statutory requirements.
- Oversee internal and external audits, addressing any findings and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Mentor and develop junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and local financial regulations in Indonesia.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Experience with tax compliance, audits, and financial reporting in a multinational or large-scale organization.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
