Responsibility
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports in compliance with company policies.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing financial data and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and assist in tax filings as required.
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits and inspections.
- Contribute to process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting or financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Certification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is a plus.
