Responsibility
- Direct and oversee the implementation of finance and accounting systems, policies, and procedures to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
- Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with senior management to create strategic financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.
- Manage and mentor the accounting team, fostering professional development and high performance.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate audits and tax filings.
- Optimize accounting processes through automation and the adoption of cutting-edge financial software.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decision-making and growth initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls within a corporate or multinational environment.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and local tax regulations (Indonesian tax laws a plus).
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills with a strategic mindset.
- Experience in the maritime, logistics, or shipping industry is highly advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, international setting and adapt to evolving business needs.
