Responsibility
- Oversee and manage the firm’s accounting service operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with local and international financial regulations.
- Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, providing high-quality financial services, including bookkeeping, tax planning, and financial reporting.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with business development teams to identify new client opportunities, prepare proposals, and support the firm’s growth initiatives.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to ensure the firm remains competitive and compliant.
- Prepare and present financial reports, insights, and recommendations to senior management and clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their financial needs and ensuring long-term satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial or supervisory role within an accounting firm or corporate finance department.
- Strong knowledge of local and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and tax regulations.
- Proven experience in managing client portfolios, delivering high-quality financial services, and driving business growth.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client and team relationships.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
