Responsibility
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Indonesian GAAP and tax regulations.
- Manage tax filings (PPH, PPN, etc.), ensure timely submissions, and liaise with tax authorities and external auditors.
- Develop and implement tax optimization strategies to minimize liabilities while ensuring full legal compliance.
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to support financial planning and business growth.
- Conduct internal audits and reconcile accounts to maintain accuracy in financial records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights for strategic decision-making.
- Stay updated on changes in Indonesian tax laws and accounting standards, advising management on implications.
- Lead or assist in financial system improvements, including ERP or accounting software enhancements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation; a professional certification (e.g., Brevet A/B, CPA, or CA) is a plus.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or tax roles, preferably in a corporate or consulting environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations (Pajak) and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Indonesian for stakeholder reporting.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience in a multinational or fast-growing company is advantageous.
