Responsibility
- Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice verification, payment processing, and vendor reconciliations.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing activities, including journal entries and financial reporting.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to support decision-making.
- Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on accounts payable and reconciliations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
