Responsibility
- Oversee and ensure the accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance financial integrity and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support data-driven decision-making for global business operations.
- Manage and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization, leveraging accounting software and tools to streamline workflows.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audits, and other statutory requirements in relevant jurisdictions.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS standards and experience with financial reporting and compliance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
- Experience working in a remote or global team environment, with a high level of self-motivation and time management.
- Ability to work night shifts (aligned with business hours in other time zones) and adapt to a flexible schedule.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
