Responsibility
- Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic business decisions.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
- Mentor and train junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Utilize advanced accounting software and ERP systems to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, tax compliance, and auditing for multinational clients.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities to manage teams and stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Experience working in a global or outsourced accounting environment is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required; additional languages are a plus.
