Responsibility
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using MYOB, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Process and reconcile invoices, payments, and financial transactions accurately.
- Maintain up-to-date and organized financial records in compliance with Australian accounting standards.
- Prepare and submit regular financial reports, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closings.
- Monitor cash flow and flag any discrepancies or financial irregularities.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax-related documentation as needed.
- Provide administrative support for financial audits and compliance checks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper (minimum 2+ years), preferably in the healthcare industry or a similar sector.
- Proficiency in MYOB accounting software is mandatory; experience with Xero or QuickBooks is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Australian accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
- Highly organized with exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal) with clear communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
