Responsibility
- Oversee and manage full-cycle accounting processes, including general ledger maintenance, month-end close, and financial reporting for multiple sites.
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) and tax regulations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Lead audit preparations, coordinate with external auditors, and implement recommendations for process improvements.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy in financial data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting workflows and enhance efficiency.
- Mentor junior accounting staff and provide guidance on complex accounting issues.
- Utilize ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) to automate processes and improve data integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in senior accounting roles, preferably in a multinational or outsourcing environment.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and tax compliance for multiple jurisdictions.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to liaise with global teams.
- Experience in financial reporting, audits, and internal controls.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while meeting tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with cloud-based accounting tools and automation software is an advantage.
