Responsibility
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including adjusting journal entries and account reconciliations (cash, banks, receivables, payables).
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance to senior management.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of general ledger maintenance and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and improve financial controls.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and tax planning activities.
- Support external audits by preparing documentation and liaising with auditors.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with financial reporting, audits, and internal controls.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a bonus.
