Responsibility
- Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and international accounting standards.
- Coordinate and lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain financial controls and procedures to ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions and strategic planning.
- Mentor and train junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to align financial goals with business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, with advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience in the travel, leisure, or hospitality industry is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
