Join GSP as a Senior Account Manager / Supervisor and take ownership of the end-to-end finance function for our Malaysia plant, reporting directly to our Chinese headquarters. Responsibility
- Oversee the full spectrum of financial operations for the Malaysia plant, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, tax requirements, and corporate policies.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings with accuracy and timeliness.
- Develop and implement financial controls, processes, and systems to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Sales, HR) to align financial strategies with business objectives.
- Prepare detailed financial analyses and presentations for senior management and headquarters.
- Lead and mentor finance staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive process optimization initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven track record in end-to-end financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and local financial regulations (Malaysia/Indonesia experience preferred).
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with fluency in English (Mandarin is a plus).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with stakeholders across multiple regions.
- Hands-on, detail-oriented with a proactive approach to process improvement.
