Responsibility
- Oversee and manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Develop and implement financial processes and controls to enhance efficiency and support business growth across multiple locations in Bali.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Collaborate with department heads to create and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including VAT, income tax, and other statutory requirements in Indonesia.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and automation within the accounting function.
- Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards (SAK) and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with multi-currency transactions and international financial reporting is a plus.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage.
