Responsibility
- Oversee and manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations and international standards.
- Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic business decisions.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance.
- Monitor cash flow, manage banking relationships, and optimize financial resources to support business growth.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations in Indonesia.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-entity trading business is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
