Responsibility
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on semiconductor manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Conduct routine inspections, calibrations, and troubleshooting of machinery to identify and resolve potential issues before they escalate.
- Document all maintenance activities, including work orders, repair logs, and equipment status reports, in compliance with industry regulations.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to diagnose complex technical problems and implement corrective actions.
- Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards, including ISO and SEMATECH guidelines, to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergency maintenance requests during off-hours as needed.
- Recommend and assist in the procurement of spare parts and tools to support maintenance operations.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in semiconductor equipment maintenance through continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with at least 2-3 years of experience in semiconductor or precision equipment maintenance.
- Proven expertise in preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) for semiconductor tools (e.g., CVD, PVD, Etch, or Lithography systems).
- Strong knowledge of PLC systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and vacuum technologies used in semiconductor manufacturing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints with precision.
- Certification in OSHA safety standards or semiconductor-specific training (e.g., SEMI S2/S8) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team under minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work in rotating shifts (day/night) and adapt to a 4-day workweek schedule.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
