Responsibility
- Perform precision soldering operations on semiconductor components and PCBs to meet strict quality standards.
- Install, configure, and maintain automation machinery used in semiconductor manufacturing processes.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in production equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal machinery performance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement process improvements and efficiency upgrades.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace in compliance with industry regulations.
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance metrics.
- Assist in training junior technicians on best practices for soldering and machinery operation.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in soldering, semiconductor equipment, or automation machinery.
- Strong knowledge of SMT (Surface Mount Technology), reflow soldering, and wave soldering processes.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to quality control.
- Familiarity with PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) and basic automation programming is a plus.
- Good communication skills in English and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
