Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle for security system installations, including CCTV, ACS, IDS, and ELV systems, from initial design to final commissioning and handover.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to develop technical specifications, system layouts, and integration plans that meet project requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct site surveys and risk assessments to identify security vulnerabilities and recommend tailored solutions for residential, commercial, and hospitality environments.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and testing of security hardware and software, including cameras, access control panels, sensors, and network infrastructure.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting during and after project implementation, ensuring system reliability and client satisfaction.
- Stay abreast of emerging security technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Prepare and present technical reports, documentation, and training materials for clients and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CSCS, PSP, CISSP, or manufacturer-specific certifications) are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in security system project engineering, with a proven track record in CCTV, ACS, IDS, or ELV systems.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in security system design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Visio, or manufacturer-specific tools), network protocols, and integration platforms.
- Project Management: Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Trello, or Asana).
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues in complex security environments.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with local and international security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SS 582, or NFPA 730) is advantageous.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced environments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
