Responsibility
- Perform regular maintenance and inspections on conveyor belt systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in conveyor belts and related equipment.
- Install and align conveyor belts according to technical specifications and safety standards.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of conveyor systems.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement improvements and upgrades to conveyor systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies during all operations.
- Provide technical support and training to junior technicians and operational staff.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Conveyor Belt Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems related to conveyor belts.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
