Responsibility
- Monitor and patrol hospital premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unauthorized activities.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, ensuring appropriate actions are taken.
- Conduct regular security checks and inspections of hospital facilities, including entry and exit points.
- Assist in the enforcement of hospital policies and procedures related to security and safety.
- Provide escort services for staff, patients, and visitors as needed, especially during high-risk situations.
- Maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- Operate security equipment, such as CCTV systems, metal detectors, and communication devices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field.
- Certification in security training or a relevant discipline is preferred.
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with staff, patients, and visitors.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
- Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency response procedures is an advantage.
- Familiarity with security equipment and surveillance systems.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
