Responsibility
- Monitor and operate CCTV systems, alarm systems, and other security equipment to detect and prevent unauthorized activities.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of all areas, including entry and exit points.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms, following established protocols and escalating issues as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and detailed logs of all security-related activities, including incidents, visitor access, and equipment checks.
- Enforce access control procedures, verifying the identity of personnel and visitors before granting entry.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services to ensure a coordinated response to security threats.
- Inspect security systems, including fire alarms and intrusion detection systems, to ensure they are functional and up-to-date.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and clients with security-related inquiries.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in security monitoring, surveillance, or a related field.
- Certification in security operations (e.g., CPR, First Aid, or a recognized security license) is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols, emergency response procedures, and surveillance technology.
- Excellent observational skills with the ability to detect and assess potential security risks.
- Proficient in using security equipment, including CCTV systems, access control systems, and alarm monitoring tools.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to prepare clear and concise incident reports.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to ensure 24/7 security coverage.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
