Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive security policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of the organization's assets, personnel, and operations.
- Lead and manage a team of security professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high standards of security service.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate countermeasures.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement, emergency services, and other relevant authorities to ensure effective response to security incidents.
- Monitor and analyze security trends and incidents, preparing detailed reports and recommendations for senior management.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and upgrading of security systems and equipment, ensuring they meet industry standards and organizational needs.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures, crisis management, and business continuity strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant local, national, and international security regulations and standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP) are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in security management, with a proven track record in developing and implementing security policies and procedures.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team of security professionals.
- Excellent knowledge of security systems and equipment, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
- Proficient in conducting security audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with local, national, and international security regulations and standards.
- Ability to work under pressure, make critical decisions, and respond effectively to security incidents.
