Responsibility
- Develop and implement comprehensive security policies, procedures, and protocols tailored to the needs of the convention center.
- Oversee daily security operations, including access control, surveillance, and emergency response planning.
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of security personnel to ensure high standards of performance and professionalism.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement, emergency services, and event organizers to ensure seamless security operations during events.
- Manage incident reporting, investigations, and follow-up actions to prevent recurrence and enhance security measures.
- Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international security regulations and standards.
- Monitor and maintain security equipment, including CCTV systems, alarms, and access control systems, to ensure optimal functionality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP) are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in security management, preferably in a large venue, hospitality, or event setting.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing and training security teams.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols, emergency response procedures, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with security technologies, including CCTV, access control systems, and alarm systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by event schedules.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage.
