Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive GRC framework aligned with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
- Lead risk assessments, gap analyses, and compliance audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Design and deliver security awareness programs to foster a culture of compliance and risk management.
- Monitor and report on GRC metrics, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement in security governance processes and controls.
- Serve as the primary liaison for external audits, regulatory inquiries, and client compliance requests.
- Stay abreast of emerging threats, regulations, and best practices to proactively address risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Risk Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CISM, CISSP, CISA, CRISC) are a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in GRC, compliance, or cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing GRC frameworks and controls.
- Strong knowledge of global compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA).
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Familiarity with risk management tools (e.g., RSA Archer, ServiceNow GRC, MetricStream).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on delivering results.
