Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily mechanical and electrical operations in secondary production and sub-assembly processes.
- Lead, mentor, and train a team of technicians and operators to ensure high performance and adherence to quality standards.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and optimize resource utilization.
- Monitor production schedules, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely completion of sub-assembly and secondary process deliverables.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to maintain compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, providing effective solutions to minimize disruptions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and logistics, to streamline workflows and support project goals.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, performance metrics, and maintenance logs for reporting and analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. Diploma holders with extensive experience may also be considered.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within manufacturing, preferably in secondary processes or sub-assembly operations.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical components, and production machinery.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Proficiency in using MS Office, ERP systems, and other manufacturing software.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
