Responsibility
- Facilitate Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, and Reviews to ensure team alignment and progress.
- Act as a servant-leader for the development team, removing impediments and fostering self-organization.
- Coach team members on Agile principles, Scrum frameworks, and best practices to enhance productivity.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to refine backlogs, prioritize tasks, and ensure clear user stories.
- Monitor and track sprint progress using tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile project management software.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements.
- Shield the team from external distractions and ensure focus on sprint goals and deliverables.
- Facilitate cross-team collaboration and communication to align on dependencies and objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification (e.g., PSM I, SAFe Scrum Master).
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a software development environment.
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and scaling frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS).
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills to guide teams effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and remove team impediments.
- Proficiency in Agile tools such as Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
