Responsibility
- Operate school buses safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students during transit, including assisting with boarding and alighting.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary bus interior, including regular cleaning and disinfection.
- Follow designated routes and schedules, ensuring timely pick-up and drop-off of students.
- Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to the maintenance team promptly.
- Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and students as needed.
- Participate in training sessions and safety drills to stay updated on best practices.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a bus driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
