Note: This is a fully remote position open to candidates based in Bali, Indonesia. Work-from-home setup provided.
Responsibility
- Process and manage accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) transactions in SAP, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconcile bank statements, vendor invoices, and customer payments to maintain up-to-date financial records.
- Prepare and generate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements using SAP.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices and payments to optimize cash flow.
- Maintain organized and secure digital filing systems for all financial documents and records.
- Provide support to senior accounting staff and clients as needed, including ad-hoc financial analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounting, with exposure to accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP).
- Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, QuickBooks) is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) is a plus.
