Responsibility
- Lead the technical design, development, and deployment of SAP S/4HANA RISE solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and retail industry best practices.
- Develop and optimize ABAP programs, including OOP, CDS Views, BAdIs, and enhancements, to support custom retail workflows and integrations.
- Architect and implement data migration strategies from legacy SAP systems to S/4HANA, ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business needs into technical specifications and deliver scalable, high-performance solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in SAP environments, including performance tuning, debugging, and system upgrades.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to ensure adherence to coding standards and SAP best practices.
- Stay abreast of SAP’s latest innovations (e.g., Fiori, HANA DB, Cloud Platform) and recommend process improvements to enhance system efficiency.
- Document technical designs, configurations, and custom developments for knowledge sharing and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development, with at least 3+ years in a technical lead role.
- Proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA implementation, including RISE with SAP, migration projects, and retail industry solutions.
- Strong proficiency in ABAP OOP, CDS Views, BAdIs, User Exits, and SAP Fiori development.
- Experience with SAP HANA database, performance optimization, and integration with third-party systems (e.g., POS, CRM, WMS).
- Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and Agile/Scrum frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP with SAP NetWeaver) are highly desirable.
