Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce applications using tools like Git, Jenkins, or Copado.
- Automate Salesforce deployments, releases, and rollbacks to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the Salesforce SDLC.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, security, and scalability within the Salesforce environment.
- Develop and maintain scripts for automated testing, validation, and deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues, ensuring smooth and reliable releases.
- Document DevOps processes, workflows, and best practices for team reference.
- Stay updated with emerging Salesforce DevOps tools and trends to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Salesforce DevOps Engineer or similar role, with hands-on CI/CD pipeline management.
- Proficiency in Git, Jenkins, Copado, or similar DevOps tools for Salesforce.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce metadata, Apex, and Lightning components.
- Experience with automated testing, scripting (e.g., Python, Bash), and release automation.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative development workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in high-pressure environments.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., DevOps Specialist, Platform Developer) are a plus.
