As a Sales Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our sales process by prospecting for new business opportunities, understanding customer needs, and ensuring a seamless experience from inquiry to conversion. You’ll work closely with our sales and marketing teams to develop targeted strategies, follow up on leads, and maintain accurate records in our CRM system. Responsibility
- Prospect and identify new leads through outbound calls, emails, and inbound inquiries to expand our customer base.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand customer pain points and recommend tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute targeted outreach strategies for key accounts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions in our CRM system (e.g., Salesforce).
- Follow up on leads promptly and professionally to ensure high conversion rates.
- Provide exceptional pre- and post-sales support to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Assist in preparing sales proposals, presentations, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and product knowledge to provide informed recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales support, customer service, or a similar role.
- Proven track record of prospecting, lead generation, and customer relationship management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience in the B2B sales environment or the precision instruments industry is a strong advantage.
