Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate and expand within the construction and engineering sectors in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
- Manage the full-cycle B2B sales process, including lead generation, client engagement, proposal development, and contract negotiation.
- Oversee the tender process, from identifying opportunities to submitting competitive bids and securing contracts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, contractors, and industry stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with marketing, product development, and customer service initiatives.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive insights, and emerging opportunities in the target sectors.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or tender management, preferably in the construction, engineering, or industrial sectors.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
- Strong understanding of the tender process, RFP/RFQ responses, and contract negotiation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage C-level executives.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
