Responsibility
- Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new clients and expand existing accounts in the freight forwarding sector.
- Identify and pursue business opportunities in air, sea, and land freight, including multimodal solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and industry partners to drive long-term growth.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to ensure competitive and profitable deals.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, customer service, and marketing) to deliver seamless logistics solutions.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry regulations to stay ahead of the curve.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Represent One Six Six Global Logistics at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
- Strong understanding of multimodal freight solutions, including air, sea, and land transportation.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are a plus.
