Responsibility

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the solar and renewable energy sector across Malaysia and Bali.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including businesses, government agencies, and residential customers.
  • Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and contracts tailored to client needs.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to ensure accurate product recommendations and seamless project execution.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to expand Gaia Cerah’s market presence.
  • Provide after-sales support to ensure client retention and long-term partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven track record of 2+ years in sales, preferably in renewable energy, solar, or a technical industry.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with solar energy products, sustainability trends, or clean technology is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and sales forecasting tools.
  • Willingness to travel within Malaysia and occasionally to Bali for client meetings and events.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages are an advantage.
