Responsibility
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to grow the logistics client portfolio.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation and prospecting to final contract closure.
- Conduct professional presentations and meetings with potential clients to introduce shipping and freight forwarding services.
- Maintain and nurture strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and account retention.
- Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis for management review.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery and logistics coordination.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes in the logistics sector.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Logistics, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of proven sales or business development experience, preferably in the logistics, freight forwarding, or shipping industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin proficiency is considered a significant advantage.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and own transport for client visits.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets.
